|
This conference focuses on British foreign policy, parliament, political parties, corporate social responsibility, education, developments and innovations. It targets civil servants, history teachers, and those involved in political and economic affairs, namely journalists. Just like the Cultural Seminar, participants must be postgraduates and the scholarship, which takes place at Oriel College in Oxford University, includes all meals, lectures and related social outings. Whenever possible, applicants are asked to meet the travel costs to Oxford University. In 2004, 33 delegates from 32 countries attended this conference which provides an excellent platform for cultural exchanges and new friendships. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must apply to the ESU Lebanon and the UK committee. |
